Friends of Pardshaw Quaker Centre: Spring Members Gathering 2026

“An affordable community holiday in a wonderful natural setting, plus a chance to catch up with other members and have your voice heard about what you think the future directions for the centre should be.”

Our Members Gatherings are a chance for the Friends of Pardshaw Quaker Centre to meet up in-person at the Centre. We talk about Pardshaw Quaker Centre and what it should be doing over the next year, but we also talk about other things! We’re a friendly bunch with diverse interests in community-building, nature appreciation, and Quaker history, heritage and modern life.

Anyone interested in coming can register on our TryBooking page. We have options for purchasing a membership with your registration (£60), for existing members (£50), and for those attending as concessions (£20). These are inclusive of food and two nights’ simple bunkbarn accommodation at Pardshaw Quaker Centre. We define a concession as anyone who would struggle to afford the full rate if paying for themselves, including any children (who should attend accompanied by a responsible adult).

Existing members can instead register for the gathering by emailing [email protected] with their details, including any offers of service for helping to run the gathering.

For 2026, the Trustees at Pardshaw Quaker Centre have agreed to fully fund a number of rep roles for those attending the gathering as representatives of clubs, societies, and other groups of size 10+ interested in booking Pardshaw Quaker Centre. This is to enable attendance at our user experience group discussion for the Safe and Accessible Pardshaw project: about how best we might use our fundraising to meet the needs of groups, with a focus on disabled group members who may experience accessibility challenges. The outcome of these discussions will feed into our building renovations planning, as well as any future projects we may set up aimed at groups. In return, you get a free holiday!
